Personal: Majored in psychology at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi … first born and raised Italian softball player to play at the NCAA Division I level … also first born and raised Italian softball player to play professional softball in Japan … will be the first born and raised Italian softball player to ever play professional softball in the United States when she competes for Athletes Unlimited in 2022 … sister, Lara, plays softball and has represented Italy in numerous events … has played with her sister on numerous softball teams … hobbies include hiking in the Dolomites, photography and collecting mugs from all over the world … also enjoys drinking coffee and tea … has a cat named Ketchup.  

2022 Championship Season: Accumulated 1,044 leaderboard points while making her Athletes Unlimited debut … tied for eighth in the league with 1,060 win points … appeared in three games in the circle … made Athletes Unlimited debut against Team Ocasio in Week One, throwing a scoreless inning … also pitched against Team Zerkle in Week One and Team Chidester in Week Four. 


International Experience: Member of Team Italy at 2020 Tokyo Olympics … made four appearances in the circle … recorded eight strikeouts in 18.1 innings … threw 6.0 innings against Australia and allowed just one earned run on four hits with two strikeouts … won four European Championship Gold medals while representing Italy from 2006-21. 


Other Professional Experience: Owns all-time Italian Softball League record with 1,988 strikeouts from 2004-21 … also played five seasons in the Australian Softball League … competed for SGH Galaxy Stars in the Japan Diamond “JD” League in 2022.

At Texas A&M-Corpus Christi: Played two seasons at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi after starting college career at Polk State College … posted 1.77 earned run average in 106.2 innings during 2011 campaign … also fashioned 1.86 ERA as a senior with 123 strikeouts in 109.1 innings … tied for seventh in program history with 19 victories … also threw 19 complete games with the Islanders, good for 10th on career list … ranks second in Texas A&M-Corpus Christi history with 1.81 career earned run average … one of seven pitchers in school history with 200 or more career strikeouts (204) … Second-Team All-Southland Conference performer as a senior … two-year starter at Polk State College before transferring … owns Vikings’ season and career records in earned run average, wins and shutouts … led team to 2009 Suncoast Conference title … named Second-Team NJCAA All-America in 2010 … two-time pick as Suncoast Conference Pitcher of the Year … had her jersey retired at Polk State College and was inducted into the school’s Athletes Hall of Fame in 2013.
