Georgina Corrick

Georgina Corrick is a 6-foot-0 professional softball pitcher from Port Charlotte, Florida. She was acquired in the 2nd Round of the 2025 Inaugural Draft following a collegiate career at South Florida.

Personal Life

Background: Has spent time as a color analyst on ESPN+ broadcasts. Has a dog named Mindy. She has worn No. 22 since her childhood because it was her house number when she first started pitching

Hobbies: Corrick's hobbies include reading, crafting, diving, exploring, writing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. She learned how to crochet during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is also Scuba certified.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marine biology and a master's degree in global sustainability from South Florida.

Athletes Unlimited Softball League (2022–)

2026 AUSL Postseason (Utah Talons): Corrick guided the Talons to a 1-0 victory over Chicago in Game One of the AUSL Championship, giving up one run on four hits with five strikeouts in a complete-game effort.

2026 AUSL Regular Season (Utah Talons): Corrick appeared in six games with five starts during the regular season, leading the AUSL with a 1.12 earned run average while compiling a 3-1 record. She also paced the league by allowing just 10 runs, including nine earned runs, over 37.2 innings. Opponents batted just .204 against her, the second-best mark in the AUSL, and she ranked second in the league with 14 strikeouts looking. She threw four complete games during the season. On June 25, against Carolina, Corrick did not allow an earned run over 8.0 innings, racking up four strikeouts while scattering seven hits in a 3-2 victory. She improved to 2-0 with a complete-game victory over Texas on June 30, giving up two runs on six hits with five strikeouts. On July 3, against Carolina, she threw 7.0 innings in relief, conceding just four hits without allowing a run while striking out seven. Corrick closed out the regular season with a complete-game win over Chicago on July 19, giving up one unearned run on two hits with four strikeouts in a 3-1 decision.

2025 AUSL All-Star Cup: Fashioned a sixth-place effort with 1,096 leaderboard points. Tied for the league lead with four victories (4-1 record), ranked fifth with a 2.33 ERA, and led all pitchers with 39 strikeouts.

2025 AUSL Regular Season (Talons): Honored as AUSL Pitcher of the Year after leading the Talons to the league title. Led the AUSL with a 2.04 ERA, six wins, four saves, and the fewest runs (11) and hits (25) allowed. Threw the first complete-game shutout in AUSL history on June 21.

2024 Championship Season: Earned fourth place with 1,540 leaderboard points. Authored a 2.73 ERA with a 3-2 record and 28 strikeouts over 33.1 innings.

2023 Championship Season: Secured 29th place with 1,152 leaderboard points, posting a 2.33 ERA and 35 strikeouts.

2023 AUX Season: Accumulated 722 leaderboard points. Posted a 1-2 record with a 4.04 ERA and 19 strikeouts.

2022 AUX Season: Finished fifth on the leaderboard with 1,308 points. Ranked third in the league with a 2.14 ERA, leading the league in innings pitched (39.1) and strikeouts (26).

Japan Diamond League: Played for Toda Medics during the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

International Experience

Team Great Britain: Member of the Great Britain National Team since 2014. Piloted Great Britain to a Silver medal at the 2024 WBSC European Championship with a 1.93 ERA and 56 strikeouts.

College Experience: South Florida (2018–2022)

Career Statistics: Authored a 113-32 record with a 1.04 ERA, 1,302 strikeouts, and 55 career shutouts. Broke or tied 39 school or conference records, including seven solo no-hitters and two perfect games.

Senior Year (2022): Finished her redshirt senior season with a 0.51 ERA, a 37-5 record, 418 strikeouts, and held opposing hitters to a .121 batting average.

Junior Year (2021): Led the nation with 15 shutouts, posting a 0.98 ERA and 333 strikeouts.

Sophomore Year (2019): Composed 11 shutouts with 25 victories.

Freshman Year (2018): AAC Rookie and Co-Pitcher of the Year with a 1.68 ERA.
