Billie Andrews is a 5-foot-8 professional softball infielder from Greta, Nebraska. She was acquired in the 4th Round of the 2026 Allocation Draft following a collegiate career at Nebraska.

Personal Life

Family: Daughter of Christopher and Barbara Andrews. Older sister, Brooke, also played softball at Nebraska.

Education: Majored in graphic design at Nebraska.

Background: Competed in basketball growing up. Lists high school coach Bill Heard as a difference-maker in her life.

Hobbies: Painting, drawing, crafts, playing video games, and LEGO. Has a dog named Thor.

Professional Experience

Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball AUX (2024)

2024 AUX Season: Earned 10th place in the final standings with 1,110 leaderboard points (700 win points, 270 stat points). Starter in 11-of-12 games who hit .324 with four home runs, 11 hits, six runs scored, and 12 RBIs. One of four players to belt two home runs in a game, doing so against Team Alo on June 25 for a season-high 250 points and five RBIs. Secured MVP 1 distinction on June 16 and Defensive MVP on June 11. Finished the season with a six-game hitting streak.

College Experience: Nebraska (2021–2024)

Career Statistics: Started all 208 games of her career. Authored a .347 batting average with a school-record 61 home runs. Tallied 238 hits, 34 doubles, five triples, and 157 RBIs. Scored 50 or more runs in each of her final three seasons.

Senior Campaign (2024): Started 49 games at shortstop, leading the Huskers in batting average (.383), hits (67), runs scored (55), home runs (18), RBIs (45), and stolen bases (16).

Junior Year (2023): Started all 58 games. Ranked second in the Big Ten with 16 home runs and finished fourth with 67 hits and 50 runs scored.

Sophomore Season (2022): Hit 20 home runs to rank second in the Big Ten and 13th in NCAA Division I. Drove in a career-best 51 runs with a .330 batting average and 59 hits.

Freshman Year (2021): Started all 44 games. Led the Huskers in hits (45), runs (32), RBIs (31), triples (2), and stolen bases (10), while tying for the team lead in home runs (7).



Awards & Honors

All-America: 10th player in program history with multiple NFCA All-America honors (Third-Team in 2023 and 2024).

All-Conference & Region: Three NFCA All-Midwest Region commendations (First-Team in 2023 and 2024). Four-time All-Big Ten Conference selection (First-Team in 2021, 2023, 2024).

Academic: Nebraska’s 2023-24 Female Student-Athlete of the Year.

National Honors: Earned NCAA and Big Ten Player of the Week distinction after going 13-for-21 (.619) with four home runs at the Mary Nutter Classic.
