Tori Vidales Signs with the AUSL for 2025 Season
Corner infielder Tori Vidales has signed with the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) for its inaugural season. The AUSL is a professional women’s softball league featuring four teams playing in a traditional format. The league will begin play this summer.
Vidales is one of the most consistent hitters in pro softball and has repeatedly found herself at the top of the leaderboard within AU Pro Softball. She has finished in the top 15 on the leaderboard four times, her highest ranking coming most recently in the 2024 Championship Season when she earned fifth place.
She boasts a career batting average of .338, .407 on-base percentage, and .597 slugging. Her name is near the top of the record books in multiple hitting categories. Vidales is the career leader for RBIs (52), second in hits (78), and fourth in both doubles (15) and home runs (15).
The general managers of the four teams will assemble the inaugural rosters at the AUSL Inaugural Draft, which will take place in early 2025. A college draft will also be held later in the spring, allowing each team to fill out its final roster spots. Details regarding both drafts will be announced at a later date.
