Skylar Wallace Signs for 2025 AUSL Season
Infielder Skylar Wallace has signed with the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) for its inaugural season. The AUSL is a professional women’s softball league featuring four teams playing in a traditional format. The league will begin play this summer.
Wallace made her pro debut at the 2024 Championship Season and finished 6th overall on the final leaderboard. She led all non-pitchers in stat points through her consistent hitting. Ranking fourth in the league with a .354 batting average, Wallace tied for third in the circuit with 17 hits and held a share of the league lead with three home runs. She also logged a .429 on-base percentage, a .542 slugging percentage and .971 OPS. As a captain in Week Two, she led her team to a 2-1 record.
Wallace was selected in the 2024 College Draft and was a three-year letter winner for the Florida Gators. She is the program’s career record holder in batting average, slugging percentage, and on-base percentage. She is also a member of the Team USA Women’s Elite Team and was selected to compete at 2024 Japan All-Star Series.
The general managers of the four teams will assemble the inaugural rosters at the AUSL Inaugural Draft, which will take place on January 29.
