Utility player Sahvanna Jaquish has signed with the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) for its inaugural season. The AUSL is a professional women’s softball league featuring four teams playing in a traditional format. The league will begin play this summer.
Jaquish played in three Championship Seasons from 2020 to 2022. She finished in the top 10 every season and earned a fourth-place medal in 2022. In her 45 games, she has an AU career batting average of .392 and a slugging percentage of .877. She is tied for second on the all-time home run list with 17.
A long-time member of Team USA, Jaquish most recently won a silver medal at the 2024 WBSC World Cup. She was a four-year player for the LSU Tigers from 2014 to 2017, earning NFCA All-America honors every season.
The general managers of the four teams will assemble the inaugural rosters at the AUSL Inaugural Draft, which will take place on January 29.
