Pitcher and Rookie of the Year Lexi Kilfoyl has signed with the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) for its inaugural season. The AUSL is a professional women’s softball league featuring four teams playing in a traditional format. The league will begin play this summer.

After graduating from Oklahoma State, Kilfoyl made her pro debut at the 2024 Championship Season. She was the only pitcher last season to throw a complete game shutout, a feat she accomplished twice in Week One. Kilfoyl started in nine games and finished with a 7-3 record, throwing the most innings of any hurler (59). She also led in ERA (2.23) and strikeouts (39).

Kilfoyl led the league in stat points (514) and MVP points (300) and finished with 1,734 total points. Her standout performance earned her Rookie of the Year honors and the 2nd place medal.

She pitched two seasons at OSU after beginning her career at Alabama. She posted a 70-21 record with a 1.70 career ERA and 549 strikeouts over 565.0 innings. She was a consensus First-Team All-America selection by NFCA, Softball America, and D1Softball her senior year. Kilfoyl was a Top 3 finalist for the 2024 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award and Big 12 Conference Pitcher of the Year. She earned All-Big 12 First Team with a career-best 1.20 ERA.

The general managers of the four teams will assemble the inaugural rosters at the AUSL Inaugural Draft, which will take place in early 2025. A college draft will also be held later in the spring, allowing each team to fill out its final roster spots. Details regarding both drafts will be announced at a later date.
