Oklahoma’s Tiare Jennings Signs with the AUSL for 2025 Season
Middle infielder Tiare Jennings has signed with the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) for its inaugural season. The AUSL is a professional women’s softball league featuring four teams playing in a traditional format. The league will begin play this summer.
Jennings, a four-time NCAA Women’s College World Series champion, was a starter for four seasons at the University of Oklahoma from 2021 to 2024. She was named to the WCWS All-Tournament Team three times and holds multiple tournament records including:
- Career record for RBIs (35)
- Single-tournament record for RBIs (15)
- Single-game record for total bases (11)
- Tied single-tournament home runs (5) to join teammate Jocelyn Alo
Her affinity for knocking in her teammates ranks 10th in NCAA single-season history. Jennings is a four-time NFCA All-American First Team selection and was a Top 10 Finalist for the 2023 and 2024 USA Softball Player of the Year.
She played one season as a pro with the Oklahoma City Spark, an independent professional softball team. She represented Team USA at the 2024 Women’s Softball World Cup and won a silver medal.
The general managers of the four teams will assemble the inaugural rosters at the AUSL Inaugural Draft, which will take place on January 29.
