With 11 golden tickets awarded, the final reached its destination in Tallahassee, Florida, on Wednesday. With no Florida State softball game on the schedule, the 12th Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) golden ticket was awarded to catcher Michaela Edenfield at the Seminoles’ senior celebration.

Edenfield completes the 2025 AUSL College Draft Class that will be selected to teams live on May 3 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPNU.

Edenfield is the only catcher of the group and has had an illustrious career as a Seminole. She is a three-time All-ACC selection and was named a Third Team NFCA All-American in 2024.

It’s not just her gear that makes Edenfield noticeable, but the creative and colorful eye makeup she wears under her mask. She’s been a starter for the Seminoles since her redshirt freshman year, but Edenfield rose to wider college softball recognition at the 2023 Women’s College World Series as a sophomore. She recorded hits in four of the five games, including a game-tying home run against Tennessee in the semifinals. She was named to the WCWS All-Tournament Team that year.

Last season was the most consistent season of her career at the plate, hitting a career-high .381 with 15 home runs and 46 RBIs. She’s followed it up in 2025 with a .344 batting average, 13 doubles, seven home runs, and 43 RBIs.

Tune in to the AUSL College Draft Show on May 3 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPNU to find out where this year’s draftees are headed.
