Kayla Kowalik is making her case for the Athletes Unlimited Softball League All-Star Cup title. Kowalik sits in first place on the overall leaderboard with 860 points — 256 points ahead of No. 2 leader Keilani Ricketts.
Kowalik led her team to two victories in Series 2 and collected all available win points (260) to boost her teammates to the top of the leaderboard. Series 2 teammates Ricketts, Danieca Coffey, and Devyn Netz will sit beside her in the captain’s chairs for Series 3.
With two MVP 1 nods and 100 stat points, Kowalik earned 480 points in Series 2. She was 5-for-7 at the plate with a triple, a home run, and three RBIs.
Ricketts (604 points) appeared in the circle for Team Kowalik in Tuesday’s game against Team Falby. She pitched 4.0 innings with two strikeouts and earned MVP 2 honors (+40 points).
Coffey (550 points) and Netz (530 points) round out the top four on the leaderboard.
Series 3 will begin on August 24 in Rosemont, Illinois, at 3 p.m. ET as Team Coffey faces Team Ricketts, followed by Team Kowalik vs. Team Netz. The Series 3 draft will be held on August 22. Fans can check back on the AUSL website and @theauslofficial on social to see the draft results.
The AUSL All-Star Cup is a four-series season from Aug. 2 to 31 in which 60 professional softball players compete to become the individual champion utilizing Athletes Unlimited’s innovative format. Teams are hand-picked by the top athletes on the leaderboard each series. Remaining games for the 2025 All-Star Cup will be played in Rosemont, Illinois.
