Infielder Hannah Flippen has signed with the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) for its inaugural season. The AUSL is a professional women’s softball league featuring four teams playing in a traditional format. The league will begin play this summer.

Flippen is a veteran pro who has competed in all five Championship Seasons and 2024 AUX. She has been named to the All-Defensive Team three times and was named the 2022 Defensive Player of the Year. Her highest placement on the leaderboard was in 2023, coming in at 10th overall. Most recently, Flippen put together a 14th-place finish, starting in all 15 games and hitting .244 with three doubles.

She was a four-year letter winner at Utah and a three-time NFCA All-American. Flippen has been a long-time member of Team USA and last summer helped guide Team USA to a silver medal at the 2024 WBSC World Cup Finals. She ranked second in the tournament with a .538 batting average and .600
on-base percentage.

The general managers of the four teams will assemble the inaugural rosters at the AUSL Inaugural Draft, which will take place on January 29th.
