McMillan’s formidable presence in the batter’s box and versatility in the field make her a prime selection for the inaugural AUSL season. The AUSL College Draft Show airs Saturday, May 3, at 9 p.m. ET on ESPNU, revealing which teams selected each draftee.

McMillan’s senior year builds on a massive 2024 campaign. She broke Virginia Tech’s single-season home run record with 21 blasts, drove in 64 runs, and went a perfect 20-for-20 on stolen base attempts. She also showed a knack for clutch moments, blasting a walk-off grand slam against Boston College and hammering home runs against ranked powerhouses like Georgia, Alabama, and UCLA.

Before her time in Blacksburg, McMillan starred at Radford, where she was an NFCA Top-25 Freshman of the Year Finalist in 2022. Over two seasons with the Highlanders, she compiled a .345 average, 17 home runs, 59 RBIs, and 31 stolen bases.

Now, McMillan joins a fast-growing list of golden ticket recipients who have the opportunity to leap to the professional ranks. More golden ticket moments are expected on college campuses in the weeks leading up to the draft.
