Caroline Jacobsen is a 5-foot-8 professional softball outfielder from Tallahassee, Florida. She was acquired in the 10th Round of the 2025 Inaugural Draft following a collegiate career at Duke and Clemson.

Personal Life

Education & Career: Graduated from Duke with a degree in political science and earned an MBA at Clemson. Worked as an intern for a professional soccer team.

Background: Lists her brothers Connor and Ryan as her idols.

Professional Experience

Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball & AUSL (2023–2025)

2025 AUSL All-Star Cup: Tallied 560 total leaderboard points. Appeared in nine games with eight starts, and earned Defensive MVP honors in Series Two.

2025 AUSL Regular Season: Ranked fifth in the AUSL with a .384 batting average, tying for fourth with 28 hits (six doubles, three home runs) and driving in 17 runs.

2024 Championship Season: Earned 26th place with 1,176 leaderboard points. Compiled a .237 batting average, tying for second with five doubles.

2023 Championship Season: Earned 19th place with 1,308 leaderboard points. Named to the AU Pro Softball All-Defensive Team.

Other Professional Experience

Jacobsen was selected as the No. 20 overall pick in the 2023 Women’s Professional Fastpitch Draft by the USSSA Pride.

College Experience: Duke & Clemson (2019–2023)

Career Statistics: Compiled a .298 career batting average, starting 238-of-252 games between Duke and Clemson. Belted 45 home runs with 166 RBIs.

Graduate Year (2023, Clemson): Hit .309 with 12 home runs and 50 RBIs, earning Third-Team All-ACC honors.

Duke (2019–2022): Ranks fourth on the Blue Devils’ career ledger with 33 home runs and 62 walks.
