Bri Ellis is a 5-foot-10 professional softball infielder from Houston, Texas. She was acquired in the 1st Round of the 2025 College Draft following a collegiate career at Arkansas and Auburn.

Background: Threw the ceremonial first pitch for the Houston Astros on April 18, 2026. Competed in Major League Baseball’s Home Run Derby X Finals event in Salt Lake City in 2025

Athletes Unlimited Softball League (2025–)

2026 AUSL Postseason (Utah Talons): Ellis smashed a solo home run over the left-field scoreboard in Game Two of the AUSL Championship against Chicago.

2026 AUSL Regular Season (Utah Talons): Ellis was honored as the 2026 AUSL Comeback Player of the Year after leading Utah with a .353 batting average. She earned a spot on the All-AUSL Team and also paced the Talons with five home runs. She ranked fourth in the AUSL with a .450 on-base percentage. Ellis totaled 18 hits, including four doubles and a triple, while scoring eight runs and driving in 13. She logged five multi-hit efforts during the season, including back-to-back two-hit outings against Chicago to open the year. In the season opener against the Bandits, she drove in three runs with a double and a home run. She then helped the Talons secure a series sweep against Chicago on June 11 with a solo home run. On June 19, against Texas, Ellis went 2-for-4 with two runs batted in. On July 4, she smashed a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Talons to a 5-4 victory. On July 16, against Portland, she posted a 2-for-3 effort with a home run and two runs batted in.

2025 AUSL All-Star Cup: Accumulated 606 leaderboard points. Tied for fourth in the league after being hit by a pitch twice.

2025 AUSL Regular Season (Talons): Started all 21 appearances as a rookie with the Talons. Fashioned a .186 batting average with one home run, eight RBIs, and 11 walks.

College Experience: Auburn & Arkansas (2022–2025)

Career Statistics: Authored a .332 career batting average with 74 home runs and 215 RBIs over 231 games. Fashioned a .989 career fielding percentage.

Senior Year (2025, Arkansas): Hit a career-best .440 with 59 hits, 26 home runs, and 72 RBIs. Tied the SEC single-season home run record.

Junior Year (2024, Arkansas): Hit .322 with 14 home runs and led Arkansas with 47 RBIs.

Sophomore Year (2023, Auburn): Ranked ninth in the SEC with 14 home runs, adding 47 RBIs.

Freshman Year (2022, Auburn): SEC Freshman of the Year. Set an Auburn freshman record with 20 home runs.
