Wedl signed with Athletes Unlimited after attending the first-ever Open Tryouts in June. She graduated in 2020 with a degree in kinesiology, and returned to UIC to get her Master’s in marketing. She was a pitcher in high school, but moved to infield when she started college.

Athletes Unlimited will be Wedl’s first professional softball opportunity.
