Following a thrilling inaugural AUSL regular season and as the competition for the individual championship at the AUSL All-Star Cup nears its conclusion this weekend, the AUSL today released the list of most popular player jerseys, based on sales online and in-venue since Opening Day of the AUSL on June 7. Volts rookie pitcher Sam Landry tops the list, followed by Talons pitcher Montana Fouts and Volts infielder Sis Bates

The player jerseys – along with all other AUSL merchandise – can be found at https://shop.auprosports.com/

In all, the top ten most popular player jerseys list features three rookies, with Volts catcher Michaela Edenfield and Talons infielder Bri Ellis joining Landry. The Volts led the league with four players on the list, joining three Bandits, two members of the AUSL Champion Talons and one player from the Blaze. The list features five infielders, three pitchers, one catcher and one outfielder.

Nine of the ten players on the list are competing in the AUSL All-Star Cup, which concludes this weekend and utilizes the innovative Athletes Unlimited format to determine an individual champion. All games will air live exclusively on ESPN platforms, while tickets remain available for all games in Rosemont, Ill.

The inaugural season of the AUSL has been highlighted by 24 sellout crowds, record viewership, merchandise sales and social media engagement as the new league toured 12 cities across the country over the past three months.

The AUSL is part of Athletes Unlimited (AU), which was co-founded in 2020 by Jon Patricof (who also serves as CEO) and Jonathan Soros, and named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies. In addition to the AUSL, AU owns and operates a portfolio of professional women’s sports leagues including basketball and volleyball properties. The AUSL is led by Commissioner Kim Ng, while AUSL advisors include softball legends Jennie Finch, Jessica Mendoza, Cat Osterman and Natasha Watley
