The Quick Story: Pitcher Rachel Garcia threw her third complete game of the season as the Volts (5-8) snapped a four-game losing streak by edging the Bandits, 5-3, in the first game of Monday night’s Athletes Unlimited Softball League doubleheader at a sold-out Parkway Bank Sports Complex.

Key Moment: The Volts used home runs from infielder Tiare Jennings and outfielder Amanda Lorenz to build a 5-0 lead through five innings before the Bandits mounted a comeback by plating three unearned runs in the top of the seventh inning. But, Garcia struck out outfielder Bella Dayton to seal the victory.
