Key Moment: The Talons trailed by a 2-1 margin in the third inning before crossing the plate four times to claim a 5-2 advantage they did not relinquish. The Talons took a 3-2 lead when Jacobsen singled to left field and advanced on an error to bring home two runs. Infielder Ali Aguilar followed two batters later with a double to right center field that brought home two more runs.

- Outfielder Morgan Zerkle extended her hitting streak to five consecutive games after opening the game with a double off the left field fence … She has registered at least one hit in 15-of-18 contests this season.
- Zerkle added a bunt single in the top of the third inning to record her league-leading 11th multi-hit game this season, including her fourth instance in the last five outings.
- Zerkle has recorded all 11 multi-hit performances in the last 13 games.
- Infielder Skylar Wallace ran her hitting streak to five games after blasting a two-run home run over to left center field in the third inning … It was her third home run of the season.
