Following the Tigers’ walk-off victory against the Florida Gators, Jennie Finch took the field to deliver the golden ticket to Coffey.

Now a redshirt senior, Coffey is in the midst of her most productive season yet. With 58 hits and a career-high 35 RBIs already in 2025, she’s proven to be one of the most reliable bats in the SEC and has made herself a fixture at the top of the Tigers’ lineup.

Coffey’s name has now been added to the list of college stars who have an opportunity to forge their professional career paths in the AUSL. Over the next week, more golden tickets will be awarded to top players from across the country ahead of the AUSL College Draft Show on Saturday, May 3, at 9 p.m. ET on ESPNU, revealing which teams selected each draftee.

Coffey’s collegiate resume speaks for itself. She’s a two-time NFCA All-Region selection and All-SEC honoree. She posted a .392 average in her junior season, ranking top 10 in the SEC while leading LSU in hits, OBP, and stolen bases. Even a season-ending injury early in 2024 couldn’t slow her down. She still hit .404 over 16 games before returning in 2025 with a vengeance.

As a freshman, Coffey immediately broke into the lineup. By her sophomore season, she was leading the team in nearly every offensive category. Her combination of speed, on-base skills, and defensive versatility has made her a cornerstone for LSU’s infield across five seasons.

More golden ticket moments are expected on college campuses in the weeks leading up to the draft.
