Kayla Kowalik, Sarah Willis, and Kendra Falby will serve as captains during Series 2 of the 2025 AUSL All-Star Cup.

The league will feature three teams instead of four during its second series (August 19-21 in Rosemont, Illinois) as 12 players compete at the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China.

Rachel Garcia (USA), Megan Faraimo (USA), Hannah Flippen (USA), Sahvanna Jaquish (USA), Tiare Jennings (USA), Lexi Kilfoyl (USA), Aubrey Leach (USA), Amanda Lorenz (USA), Dejah Mulipola (USA), Bubba Nickles-Camarena (USA), Aleshia Ocasio (Puerto Rico), and Jessi Warren (USA) will not participate in Series 2 due to national team commitments.

Kowalik sits in the No. 2 spot on the leaderboard with 380 points, but will captain the Gold team as Garcia is in China with Team USA. She’s hitting .500 in eight at-bats with a double and two RBIs, including a walk-off single on Monday evening for Team Lorenz. Kowalik is tied with Garcia for the league lead in MVP Points with 100.

Willis, who ranks fourth with 350 points, will captain the Orange squad in Kilfoyl’s absence. Willis is 1-0 with a 1.40 ERA and pitched 5.0 innings for Team Kilfoyl in Series 1. Opponents are hitting just .167 against her.

Rounding out the three captains is rookie Falby with 330 points. Falby had a stellar pro debut on Saturday for Team Kilfoyl, posting two hits with the go-ahead RBI in the sixth inning en route to MVP 1 honors for an additional 60 points.

Series 2 will begin on August 19 in Rosemont, Illinois, at 8 p.m. ET as Team Kowalik faces Team Falby. The Series 2 draft will be held on August 12. Fans can check back on the AUSL website and @theauslofficial on social to see the draft results.
