Catcher Kayla Kowalik remains the Gold team captain for the third straight series while ranking first on the league leaderboard with 1,360 total points. The former Kentucky product has fashioned a perfect 7-0 record, including a 5-0 mark in the last two series, and paces the league with 300 MVP points and 820 win points.
After helping Kowalik post a 3-0 record in Series Three, middle infielder Erin Coffel moves into the captain’s chair for the final segment of the season and will serve as the Orange team leader. Coffel stands second in the circuit with 966 total leaderboard points and 720 win points.
Pitcher Rachel Garcia, who will be attempting the second player in any Athletes Unlimited sport to earn medalist honors four times, begins the final series of the All-Star Cup season in third place with 948 leaderboard points. The former UCLA standout has a league-best 298 stat points, while her 200 MVP points are second in the 60-player field.
Pitcher Keilani Ricketts secured her second straight stint as a team captain after closing Series Three in fourth place on the leaderboard with 880 points. Ricketts, who captained the Orange squad in the penultimate series of the campaign, owns a 2-0 record in the circle and ranks third in the league with a 1.40 earned run average.
Series 4 begins Friday, August 29 in Rosemont, Illinois, at 6 p.m. ET as Team Garcia faces Team Coffel, followed by Team Kowalik vs. Team Ricketts. The Series 4 draft will be held on August 27. Fans can check back on the AUSL website and @theauslofficial on social to see the draft results.
The AUSL All-Star Cup is a four-series season from Aug. 2 to 31 in which 60 professional softball players compete to become the individual champion utilizing Athletes Unlimited’s innovative format. Teams are hand-picked by the top athletes on the leaderboard each series. Remaining games for the 2025 All-Star Cup will be played in Rosemont, Illinois.
