Four athletes who competed with Athletes Unlimited Softball League teams as Reserve Pool Athletes have earned spots on the All-Star Cup roster next month. Jadelyn Allchin, Aliyah Binford, Ali Newland, and Paige Sinicki will be part of the 60-athlete pool competing for an individual championship.

The AUSL All-Star Cup is a four-series season from Aug. 2 to 31 in which 60 professional softball players compete to become the individual champion utilizing Athletes Unlimited’s innovative format. Teams are hand-picked by the top athletes on the leaderboard each series. The 2025 All-Star Cup will feature games in Rosemont, Ill., and Raleigh and Greenville, N.C.

Allchin has been a mainstay out of the Reserve Pool for the Talons, starting in 15 games. She’s put up consistent numbers at the plate with a slash line of .396/.482/.604. Her batting average is good for fourth in the AUSL, and her on-base percentage ranks second in the league. She is also 7-for-7 in stolen bases, which is tied with Skylar Wallace for the league lead.

All-Star Cup coming to Holly Springs, NC, Greenville, NC, and Rosemont, IL from August 2 - 31

Binford joined the Blaze after the pitching staff was riddled with injuries and has been a steady presence for them since. She’s thrown 13 2/3 innings for the Blaze and logged a 4.61 ERA. Binford is a former collegiate star at both Baylor and Ole Miss. She helped lead Ole Miss to its first Women’s College World Series appearance in program history this past season and was named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team. A two-way player, Binford hit .320 with 15 home runs her senior season while pitching to a 3.46 ERA in 115 1/3 innings in the circle.

Sinicki made her pro debut on June 21 and will continue her rookie year in the All-Star Cup. Her stint with the Talons was short (only three plate appearances), but her resume at the University of Oregon is substantial. She is a Rawlings Gold Glove award-winning shortstop who started in 211 career games for the Ducks. Her senior season in 2025 was her most successful offensively with a .376 average and .652 slugging percentage. She drove in a career-high 50 RBIs with 32 stolen bases.

Newland has also made an impact with her opportunities in the AUSL, with seven hits, three doubles, a home run, and five RBIs in just 19 at-bats. Newland competed for the Florida Vibe during the 2024 Association of Fastpitch Professionals season. She was a four-year letterwinner at LSU where she compiled a .298 career batting average. Newland was hailed for her defense and was named to the SEC All-Defensive Team in her senior season.
