The Quick Story: Outfielders Maya Brady and Jadelyn Allchin combined for four hits and three runs batted in to lead the Talons (18-5) to a 6-4 victory over the Volts (7-16) in the opener of their two-game Athletes Unlimited Softball League series at Rhoads Stadium on Tuesday evening
Key Moment: With the score tied at 3-all in the fourth inning, the Talons scored three times over the next two innings to take a 6-3 lead they did not relinquish. Allchin gave the Talons a 4-3 lead with an RBI single in the bottom of the fourth inning before Brady followed in the fifth inning with a two-run single up the middle.

- The Volts have lost six of their last seven games after Tuesday’s loss against the Talons.
