The Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) has announced the first trade in its history, with Volts outfielder McKenzie Clark being sent to the Blaze in exchange for outfielder Ciara Briggs.
Clark, a starter in all 10 games for the Volts this season, has belted two home runs with five runs batted in. The former Clemson University product has also scored five runs.
Briggs appeared in 10 games with five starts for the Blaze. She went 1-for-3 with a run scored in the squad’s 11-3 loss against the Bandits on Saturday evening.
