The bracket for the 2025 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament is set.
After the selection show on Sunday, 64 teams were assigned to a regional. All 12 of the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) draftees will compete for a spot in Super Regionals and begin the journey for a coveted spot at the Women’s College World Series.
Here’s where to watch the potential rookies as they cap off their college careers in the postseason.
Bryan-College Station Regional (College Station, Texas)
Left-handed pitcher Emiley Kennedy and the Aggies will host their regional play after Texas A&M (45-9) was tabbed the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament.
They’ll take on Saint Francis at 3:30 p.m. ET on Friday, with the game live on SEC Network.
The Aggies are making their 23rd-straight appearance in the tournament, the seventh-longest active streak in the NCAA. The Bandits selected Kennedy with the 7th overall pick; she is the first Texas A&M student-athlete to be selected in an AU Softball College Draft.
Norman Regional (Norman, Oklahoma)
The Sooners and Volts will have a presence at the Norman Regional.
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 AUSL College Draft headlines the pitching for Oklahoma: Sam Landry. She is the ninth Oklahoma athlete selected in an AU Softball College Draft, the most for any university. Fellow Volts athlete Tiare Jennings finished up her career at OU and joined the coaching staff as an assistant.
California, Omaha, and Boston University will all head to Love’s Field for the opening day of play on Friday. Oklahoma will face BU at 6 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
Gainesville Regional (Gainesville, Florida)
The Gainesville Regional will have a slew of AUSL connections, highlighted by Blaze draftee Korbe Otis.
The Gators will host Georgia Tech, FAU, and Mercer. Another Blaze athlete, Kalei Harding, will be a part of this regional as a graduate manager for Mercer. In the opposing dugout will be Otis and Bandits’ Erin Coffel, who is a grad assistant with Florida this season.
Florida holds the No. 3 overall seed and will begin play against Mercer at 4:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+. When tuning into the game, you will hear fellow Blaze pitcher Aleshia Ocasio on the call as the color analyst.
Fayetteville Regional (Fayetteville, Arkansas)
Regional play hosted by the Razorbacks is stacked with draftee talent on the field and in coaching roles.
Talons’ first draft selection, Bri Ellis, put together one of the most incredible regular season performances in NCAA history, and her impact in postseason play is much anticipated.
She was named the SEC Player of the Year and was recently announced as a Top 10 Finalist for USA Softball National Player of the Year. Ellis became just the second Arkansas player in program history to be named a Top 10 Finalist for the award, joining Danielle Gibson Whorton, who accomplished the feat in 2022.
Gibson Whorton (Blaze) and Mariah Lopez (Talons) are on the Arkansas coaching staff as assistant coach and graduate assistant, respectively. In the opposing dugout is the No. 1 pick of the Inaugural Draft, Lexi Kilfoyl (Bandits). This season, she has worked with her alma mater, Oklahoma State, as an assistant.
Play will begin with Oklahoma State and Indiana, then you can tune in to see Ellis look to continue her dominance in Arkansas vs. Saint Louis at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
Tallahassee Regional (Tallahassee, Florida)
The Tallahassee Regional will begin play on Friday, hosted by the No. 5 seed Florida State Seminoles. Starting Seminoles catcher Michaela Edenfield will be featured; she was selected in the second round by the Volts in the College Draft.
The Seminoles will face Robert Morris at 2:30 p.m. ET on ACC Network; Auburn and South Florida will be the other matchups in the first round.
Baton Rouge Regional (Baton Rouge, Louisiana)
Down in the Bayou, LSU will host UConn, Nebraska, and Southeastern Louisiana University.
Volts draftee Danieca Coffey will help lead the Tigers in their first match-up on Friday vs. SLU at 5:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network. Coffey is on a hot streak; she’s been named the SEC Player of the Week twice in the last three and leads the team with a .561 batting average.
Lubbock Regional (Lubbock, Texas)
Two Talons draftees will hit the road to the Lubbock Regional. Sierra Sacco and Raelin Chaffin will travel with Mississippi State to square up with Washington in the first round. Their game will be live on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. ET.
The Bulldogs pair is one of only two schools that had multiple draftees selected in the 2025 Draft.
Coaching the host school, Texas Tech, is Blaze athlete Kayla Kowalik, who is an assistant for the program this season. They will face Brown on Friday.
Tucson Regional (Tucson, Arizona)
No. 13 Arizona welcomes Ole Miss, Grand Canyon, and Santa Clara for regional play.
Tune in at 7:30 p.m. ET for the Big 12 Player of the Year and Bandits’ third-round pick Devyn Netz. Netz is a two-way player who finished the regular season with a .347 batting average, 2.04 ERA, and a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, splitting time between pitcher and first base.
She is another AUSL draftee remaining in the running for the 2025 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award as a Top 10 Finalist.
Arizona will take on Santa Clara while Grand Canyon and Ole Miss will pair off to open the regional.
Durham Regional (Durham, North Carolina)
No. 14-seeded Duke earned its fifth consecutive bid to the NCAA Softball Championship and will host Coastal Carolina, Georgia, and Howard. Blaze draftee Ana Gold brings speed and power for the Blue Devils as they enter tournament play.
This is the fourth time Duke earned hosting rights in program history and will begin play facing Howard at 12 p.m. ET on the ACC Network. Overall, Duke is 13-10 in the NCAA Championship after making the program’s first Women’s College World Series appearance last season.
Tuscaloosa Regional (Tuscaloosa, Alabama)
Two Hokies and AUSL draftees will head south to Rhoads Stadium for the Tuscaloosa Regional.
Pitcher Emma Lemley (Blaze) and utility Cori McMillan (Bandits) are key pieces to Virginia Tech’s success this season and the continued road to Oklahoma City. McMillan was named the ACC Player of the Year and recently made the cut as a Top 10 Finalist for USA Softball Player of the Year.
Alabama softball was awarded the No. 15 overall seed and will host Virginia Tech along with Jackson State, and Belmont. The Hokies have advanced to the NCAA Tournament in all six full seasons under head coach Pete D’Amour.
