July 24, 2025, New York, N.Y. – While the Bandits and Talons will meet this weekend to determine the winner of the AUSL Championship presented by Sephora, the conclusion of that event will not mark the end of AUSL competition this summer. Fans of the AUSL’s Bandits, Blaze, Talons, and Volts will be able to watch their favorite professional softball stars as they face off in the AUSL All-Star Cup this August. Following a thrilling inaugural season, 60 elite players – with a combined 12 NCAA Championships and including 40 players with National Team experience and all AUSL Regular Season award winners – have been chosen to compete in a high-stakes showdown to crown the ultimate individual softball champion.

The intense, 21-game competition will run from August 2-31, with games in Rosemont, Ill., Raleigh, N.C., as well as AUSL Pro Games at the Little League Softball World Series presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods in Greenville, N.C. The AUSL All-Star Cup will utilize the innovative Athletes Unlimited format to determine an individual champion, with new teams drafted by the top four players on the leaderboard over the course of four series of games (click here for a full explanation of the format). All games will air live exclusively on ESPN platforms, while tickets remain available for all games

The AUSL All-Star Cup will build off the incredible momentum generated by the inaugural season of the AUSL, which was highlighted by 19 sellout crowds, record viewership, merchandise sales and social media engagement as the new league toured ten cities across the country over the past two months.

AUSL Hitter of the Year Erin Coffel, Pitcher of the Year Georgina Corrick, Defensive Player of the Year Hannah Flippen and Rookie of the Year Ana Gold are among the top competitors signed on to compete in the AUSL All-Star Cup, alongside dozens of other top players, including Odicci Alexander, Sis Bates, Michaela Edenfield, Bri Ellis, Megan Faraimo, Montana Fouts, Rachel Garcia, Tiare Jennings, Lexi Kilfoyl, Sam Landry, Aubrey Leach, Amanda Lorenz, Dejah Mulipola, Aleshia Ocasio and Morgan Zerkle. Overall, the Blaze lead the AUSL with 16 players selected, while 15 players from the Bandits and 13 players each from the Talons and Volts will compete. Two additional players – Ali Newland and Paige Sinicki – competed in the AUSL Regular Season as part of the Reserve Pool, while Kendra Falby, an outfielder out of Florida, will make her professional debut in the AUSL All-Star Cup. The full list of competitors can be found here.

The AUSL is part of Athletes Unlimited (AU), which was co-founded in 2020 by Jon Patricof (who also serves as CEO) and Jonathan Soros, and named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies. In addition to the AUSL, AU owns and operates a portfolio of professional women’s sports leagues including basketball and volleyball properties. The AUSL is led by Commissioner Kim Ng, while AUSL advisors include softball legends Jennie Finch, Jessica Mendoza, Cat Osterman and Natasha Watley

“Following the incredible success of the inaugural season of the AUSL, the AUSL All-Star Cup provides yet another opportunity for the world’s best softball players to compete, this time for an individual championship,” said Kim Ng, Commissioner of the AUSL. “We are excited for our new fans of the Bandits, Blaze, Talons and Volts to see their favorite players compete in this unique format.”
