These athletes are under consideration for the 2026 USA Softball WNT, which will compete in the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) World Cup Group Stage event and the 2026 USA Softball International Cup. They will also serve as the foundation for the 2025–28 Olympic quadrennial cycle team, which will compete at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. The list includes:

Carolina Blaze

Chicago Bandits

Oklahoma City Spark

Portland Cascade

Texas Volts

Utah Talons

The list also includes 2026 AUSL College Draftees Reese Atwood, NiJaree Canady, and Karlyn Pickens.

The upcoming slate of events for Team USA includes the 2026 International Cup and will feature all 36 athletes on the list as USA Softball is set to compete with both the WNT and Women’s Elite Team. This event will be a five-day tournament featuring six teams from around the world in Oklahoma City from July 30 to August 3.

Next, the 2026 WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Group Stage event is slated for September 12-16 at Devon Park in Oklahoma City. As a host of the Group Stage, the world-ranked No. 2 Team USA has earned an automatic berth in its respective group event and will be joined by five additional qualified teams.
