Important Information

To ensure all attendees have a fun and safe experience at our Dog Days of Summer event, please read and adhere to the following information:

All dogs must be accompanied by a ticket-holder for the Wednesday, August 20 game day.

All dogs must have complete and current vaccinations.

Dog owners assume responsibility for the action of their dog for the duration of the Dog Days of Summer event.

Dog owners will be required to sign a pet waiver upon arrival at the All About AUSL hub on the concourse.

These games will be busy and the weather might be warm. Please ensure your dog is comfortable in these conditions before planning to attend the event. There will be complimentary water coolers available for fans and their four-legged friends.

I.D. Tags are recommended.

All dogs MUST be on a leash at all times.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to any dog.

Use good judgment regarding the temperament of your pet so that this event will be enjoyable for everyone.

Do not bring your dog if he/she is unreliable in crowds or with other dogs.

Do not bring a dog whose behavior could be dangerous to others.

Do not bring a female dog in heat.

Be courteous and responsible – pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet.

🐾 Should I bring my dog to AU’s Dog Days of Summer?

Yes, if your dog:

– Is old enough to be around other dogs and people (at least six months old)

– Is up-to-date on all vaccinations

– Is in relatively good health and can walk up and down stairs

-Does well on a leash and is not overly aggressive toward other dogs

– Is friendly toward humans and not excessively fearful

– Is an Athletes Unlimited Softball League fan!

Your pup can catch the games from home on ESPN2, if he/she:

– Is still too young to mix with a big crowd (under six months old)

– Is a senior dog that would have trouble navigating stairs and being outside for an extended period of time

– Has aggressive tendencies toward other dogs or humans while on or off a leash

– Is exhibiting any signs of illness close to the day of the game (i.e. cough, nasal discharge, lethargy, diarrhea, etc.) because these symptoms can be signs of potentially infectious illnesses, so it would be best for your dog and other dogs if he or she does not attend

– Is a female dog in heat

– Older dogs, dogs with short muzzles, and/or dogs in general that are quickly prone to heat exhaustion should consider not attending this event or possibly plan on not staying for the entire game day. Dogs cool themselves down by panting and are not nearly as efficient as we humans. Please keep the comfort and safety of your dog in the forefront of your mind when planning on this fun day of softball!

Helpful Reminders

Any person accompanying a dog at Parkway Bank Sports Complex must be at least eighteen years of age or older.

All dogs MUST be on a leash at all times while on the Parkway Bank Sports Complex premises, including, but not limited to, in the parking lot before and after the games.

Dry dog food and treats may be brought into Parkway Bank Sports Complex if such food and treats is in a sealable bag.

Dogs and their owners will be able to relax in the grass area directly outside of the front entrance of Parkway Bank Sports Complex. Fans and their dogs may re-enter the stadium during the duration of both games.
