Aliyah Andrews is a 5-foot-8 professional softball outfielder from Oldsmar, Florida. She was acquired in the 5th Round of the 2026 Allocation Draft following a collegiate career at LSU.

Personal Life

Education: Graduated with a degree in mass communications from LSU.

Family: Sister, A.J., played softball at LSU and competed in AU’s inaugural championship season.

Background: Earned the nickname "Air Aliyah" for her spectacular diving catches. Has a dog named Mojo.

Professional Experience

Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball, AUX & AUSL (2021–2025)

2025 AUSL All-Star Cup: Collected 660 total leaderboard points. Started nine games, posted a .261 batting average, and led the league with two stolen bases.

2025 AUSL Regular Season: Starter in 20-of-21 games for the Blaze, posting a .340 batting average with 17 hits. Tied for seventh in the AUSL with three stolen bases.

2024 Championship Season: Honored as the AU Pro Softball Defensive Player of the Year, compiling 1,080 leaderboard points. Started all 15 games, batted .311 with 14 hits, and received a pair of Defensive MVP commendations.

2023 Championship Season: Finished eighth overall with 1,582 leaderboard points. Ranked second in the league with a .400 batting average, 18 hits, and four stolen bases.

2023 AUX Season: Placed eighth with 978 leaderboard points. Led the league with seven games of 100+ leaderboard points and finished third with a .419 batting average.

2022 Championship Season: AU Pro Softball All-Defensive Team selection who compiled 820 leaderboard points. Started 12 games and authored a .222 batting average.

2022 AUX Season: Tallied 816 leaderboard points, hitting .333 with 13 hits and leading the league with three stolen bases.

2021 Championship Season: Finished eighth with 1,510 leaderboard points. Member of the inaugural AU Pro Softball All-Defensive Team, batting .319 with 15 hits.

International Experience (2023–2024)

Team USA: Helped the United States win a Gold medal at the 2023 Pan American Games. Named to the roster for the 2023 WBSC World Cup Qualifier and the 2024 Japan All-Star Series.

College Experience: LSU (2017–2021)

Career Statistics: Authored a .353 career batting average with 286 hits, 196 runs scored, and 145 stolen bases (second all-time at LSU). Owns the LSU single-season record with 47 stolen bases in 2019.

Senior Year (2021): Second-Team NFCA All-America selection after batting .365 with two home runs and 19 RBIs.
