There’s over a month left until Jayda Coleman makes her Utah Talons debut, and she had a chance to start getting her arm warm on a big stage. Coleman threw out the first pitch at the Milwaukee Brewers game on Saturday against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Coleman was selected by the Talons in the 2025 AUSL Expansion Draft. She was a part of a historic period of Oklahoma Softball, winning the national championship four straight years. During that time, she was a three-time NFCA All-America First Team selection and stands as second in program history for her .415 career average.
Her cousin, Kendall Coleman, is a Senior Player Acquisition Strategist with the Milwaukee Brewers

Coleman and Utah Talons open up the 2026 season at home with a rematch of the Championship Series last year at Dumke Family Stadium against the Chicago Bandits. Tickets are on sale now.
