Bri Ellis showed her hometown pride on Friday night, throwing out the first pitch at the Houston Astros game. Ellis was a standout player at the University of Arkansas and is from Houston, Texas.
She had an incredible run in her senior season and was named the 2025 SEC Player of the Year and USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year. Ellis was also named Division I Player of the Year by both D1Softball and Softball America.
Ellis was drafted by the Salt Lake City Talons and won the 2025 AUSL Championship with the team her rookie season.








Ellis and Salt Lake City Talons open up the 2026 season at home with a rematch of the Championship Series last year at Dumke Family Stadium against the Chicago Bandits. Tickets are on sale now.
