Leighann Goode is a 5-foot-7 professional softball infielder from San Antonio, Texas. She was selected by the Texas Volts with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2026 AUSL College Draft.

Personal Life

Family: Daughter of Travis and Shannon Goode; her mother played softball at UTSA from 1992-96. She is the youngest of three children.

Inspiration: Lists Sis Bates as a person who has inspired her.

Athletes Unlimited Softball League (2026)

2026 AUSL Regular Season: Selected No. 8 overall in the 2026 AUSL College Draft by the Texas Volts.

College Experience: Texas Longhorns (2023–2026)

Goode was a four-year letter winner at Texas. She finished her career with a .307 batting average, 32 home runs, 194 total hits, 37 doubles, 5 triples, and 142 RBIs over 211 starts.

Senior Campaign (2026): Started 62 games, batting .327 as the team's fourth-leading hitter. Tallied a career-high 12 home runs, 40 RBIs, 55 hits, and 49 runs scored with 16 multi-hit efforts.

Junior Year (2025): Started all 66 games, registering a .295 batting average with 10 home runs, 43 RBIs, 54 hits, and 37 runs scored.

Sophomore Season (2024): Played in 42 games, recording five multi-hit games and driving in a season-high five runs during a 3-for-4 performance against Tarleton State on March 1.

Freshman Year (2023): Started all 61 games, batting .325 with 66 hits, eight home runs, 52 runs scored, and 41 RBIs. Posted 18 multi-hit games, opened on a 10-game hitting streak, and scored a run in 16 straight games to begin the season.

All-Region: Two-time Second-Team NFCA All-Region performer.
