Personal: Sandercock majored in psychology at Florida State. She has one sister who works as a graphic designer in New York City. Her favorite movie is Dirty Dancing, and she lists Sky Mall as her favorite magazine. Sandercock's favorite singer is Tove Lo, and she enjoys eating chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. Her favorite television show is Love Island, and she wants to become a college softball coach. She grew up with two dogs and helped McLean (Va.) Little League advanced to the 2013 Little League Softball World Series Championship. Sandercock lists Florida State head softball coach Lonni Alameda as a person who has made a difference in her life. She played several instruments as a child, including the piano, clarinet, and violin. Her hobbies include reading, hiking, traveling, exploring different cities, and watching TV and movies. Sandercock chose to wear No. 31 in honor of her friend and former Florida State teammate Danielle Watson, and her walk-up song is "Wait Your Turn" by Rihanna.

2023 Championship Season: Sandercock enjoyed an outstanding rookie season, achieving a 22nd place finish with 1,284 leaderboard points. She was honored as a Game MVP three times during her inaugural campaign and set a league single-season record with three saves while compiling a 2-4 record in 12 appearances. She ranked second in the league with a 2.05 earned run average over 30.2 innings. Sandercock earned a save in her professional debut against Team McCleney on July 29, allowing just three hits with one strikeout over the final 3.0 innings. She claimed her first professional win on August 9 at AU Pro Games at the Little League Softball World Series, throwing 3.0 perfect innings with five strikeouts to close Team Alexander’s 4-3 victory over Team Faraimo. Sandercock secured a save in back-to-back outings to complete Week Three, allowing two hits over 2.0 innings against Team Davidson on August 12 and giving up one hit in the final inning of the August 13 contest against Team Romero. She opened Week Four with a win in relief against Team Urtez, giving up two hits over 2.1 innings and pitched a season-high 5.1 innings against Team Alexander on August 20. Sandercock was one of 14 players selected in the Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball College Draft.


Other Professional Experience: Sandercock was the No. 6 overall selection in the 2023 Women’s Professional Fastpitch Draft by Texas Smoke.


International Experience: Sandercock authored a 1.40 earned run average in four appearances while guiding Team USA to the Gold medal at the 2017 WBSC Junior Women’s World Championship. She helped Team USA win the Bronze medal at the 2019 USA Softball International Cup by pitching 2.2 innings with two strikeouts. Sandercock competed at World Cup of Softball XII and fashioned a 2.47 earned run average with five strikeouts. She also posted a 3.00 earned run average at the 2022 Canada Cup with three strikeouts. Sandercock was a member of Team USA's roster for the 2022 Japan All-Star Series and the 2023 WBSC World Cup Group A event in Dublin, Ireland. Furthermore, she posted a 1-0 record with a 3.15 earned run average over 6.2 innings for Team USA at the 2023 Pan American Games.

At Florida State: Sandercock was a five-year letter winner at Florida State. She appeared in 184 games in the circle from 2019-23, finishing her career with a 107-12 record and a 1.44 earned run average. Sandercock compiled 489 strikeouts in 718.0 innings with 30 complete games. She graduated as Florida State’s single-season (10) and career saves (18) leader, tying for third on Seminoles’ career victories list and ranking ninth on Florida State’s career innings ledger. Sandercock led Florida State to a pair of NCAA Women’s College World Series appearances and two Atlantic Coast Conference crowns. She was a three-time First-Team All-ACC performer and was named the 2023 ACC Pitcher of the Year. Sandercock was also a Top 25 Finalist for the 2022 and 2023 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Award and earned NFCA Second-Team All-America distinction in each of her final three seasons. She garnered First-Team All-Southeast Region accolades three times and was a two-time D1Softball All-America selection, earning First-Team status in 2023. Sandercock received First-Team notice on the 2023 Softball America All-America Team. During her final season with the program, Sandercock fashioned a 28-4 record with a program-record 10 saves. She also registered a 1.12 earned run average with 119 strikeouts in 193.0 innings while guiding Seminoles to ACC regular season and tournament titles along with an NCAA Women’s College World Series berth. Sandercock pitched the first perfect game in Florida State’s NCAA Tournament history against South Carolina in the NCAA Regional title win. She appeared in 44 games as a senior with 25 starts, becoming the 11th pitcher in Florida State history to record 30 or more wins in a season after finishing 30-3 with three saves. Sandercock ranked second in NCAA Division I in wins, while her 1.44 earned run average ranked 18th in the nation. She pitched in 43 games with 26 starts as a junior, finishing with a 1.25 earned run average over 178.2 innings and authored a 27-4 record with two saves while striking out 127 hitters. Sandercock also registered 10 complete games during the junior season. She paced Seminoles with a 9-1 record during the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign with two saves over 60.2 innings and accumulated 35 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .221 batting average. Sandercock opened her career with a 1.99 earned run average and 49 strikeouts over 32 appearances in 2019.
