Dejah Mulipola is a 5-foot-8 professional softball catcher from Garden Grove, California. She was acquired in the 3rd Round of the 2025 Inaugural Draft following a collegiate career at Arizona.


Personal Life


Background: Two sisters also played softball. Chose to wear No. 2 in honor of her uncle who passed away in 2024.


Professional Experience


Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball, AUX & AUSL (2021–2025)


2025 AUSL All-Star Cup: Earned 620 leaderboard points, batting .304 with one home run and four RBIs.

2025 AUSL Regular Season: Started 14-of-16 games, hitting .217 with two home runs.

2023 Championship & AUX Seasons: Scored 1,064 points in the Championship season (hit .250, three HRs) and 684 points in AUX (four HRs, 13 RBIs).

2022 Championship Season: First position player in AU Softball history to win the individual title, compiling 1,782 points. First player to lead the league in batting average (.432), home runs (9), and RBIs (19) in the same season.

2022 AUX Season: Secured third place with 1,368 points, tying for the league lead in RBIs (11) and home runs (3).


Other Professional & International Experience (2020–2026)


WPF & Japan: Signed with Oklahoma City Spark in 2024 and has competed for Hitachi Sundiva since 2024.

Team USA: Member of Team USA since 2018. Won a Silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Led Team USA to Gold at the 2022 and 2025 World Games. Belted four home runs to win Gold at the 2023 Pan American Games.


College Experience: Arizona (2017–2021)


Mulipola was a four-year letter winner at Arizona who started all 237 games. Sat out 2020 to train for the Olympics.


Career Statistics: Accrued a .335 average with 68 home runs and 203 RBIs. Tied for first in Arizona history with a .997 fielding percentage.

Senior Year (2021): Led the Pac-12 in home runs (21), RBIs (63), walks (34), and OBP (.518).


Awards & Honors


National Honors: 2019 Johnny Bench Catcher of the Year. Two-time NFCA Catcher of the Year.

All-America: Two-time First-Team NFCA All-America distinction.
