Amanda Lorenz is a 5-foot-5 professional softball outfielder from Moorpark, California. She was acquired in the 2nd Round of the 2025 Inaugural Draft following a collegiate career at Florida.

Personal Life

Family: Married Clemson University baseball assistant coach Griffin Mazur in December 2023. Has a goldendoodle named Blue.

Career: Served as a volunteer assistant coach at Florida during the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball, AUX & AUSL (2021–2025)

2025 AUSL All-Star Cup: Compiled 980 points to earn 11th place. Batted .296 with one home run and tied for second with eight runs scored.

2025 AUSL Regular Season: Started all 24 games in left field for the Volts. Fashioned a .308 batting average with 24 hits, five doubles, and five home runs. Third in the AUSL with 14 walks.

2024 Championship Season: Crowned Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball champion after collecting 1,800 points. Tied for the league lead with a .373 batting average, 19 hits, and three home runs. Paced the league with an .998 OPS and 29 total bases.

2024 AUX Season: Garnered seventh place with 1,196 points. Set AUX single-season standards with five stolen bases.

2023 Championship Season: Finished 14th with 1,418 points. Led the league with a .478 batting average and .579 OBP.

2022 & 2021: Placed ninth in the 2022 Championship Season (1,514 points) and 11th in 2021 (1,404 points).

Other Professional & International Experience (2018–2026)

NPF: No. 2 overall selection in the 2019 NPF Draft by the USSSA Pride, helping the team win the Cowles Cup.

Team USA: Helped Team USA win Gold at the 2022 and 2025 World Games. Won Gold at the 2023 and 2022 Pan American Games. Member of the 2026 National Team pool.

College Experience: Florida (2016–2019)

Lorenz was a four-year letter winner at Florida who started all 260 games from 2016-19.

Career Statistics: Finished her career with a .406 batting average, 40 home runs, and 192 RBIs. Holds Florida career records in batting average, OBP, doubles (59), and walks.
