Baylee Klingler

Baylee Klingler is a 5-foot-8 professional softball corner infielder from Houston, Texas. She was acquired in the 8th Round of the 2025 Inaugural Draft following a collegiate career at Texas A&M and Washington.

Personal Life

Hobbies: Hobbies include traveling, reading and writing. She ran a half marathon during the offseason

Background: Has a dog named Luna. Her proudest accomplishment is leading Washington to the NCAA Women’s College World Series and becoming a three-time All-America selection.

Family: Father, Jimmy, was a quarterback at Houston (1991-93). Sister Courtney played softball at Houston, and brother Cory played football at Rice.

Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball, AUX & AUSL (2024–2025)

2026 AUSL Regular Season (Carolina Blaze): Klingler batted .281 with one home run and eight runs batted in, contributing six runs scored and 16 hits, including two doubles. She recorded a six-game hitting streak from July 11 to July 19, collecting eight hits during that stretch, including two doubles. On July 15, against Chicago, Klingler went 2-for-4 with two doubles and four runs batted in. She logged a season-high three hits against Utah on July 3. On June 29, against Oklahoma City, she hit a grand slam as part of a 2-for-4 effort. Klingler closed out the season by scoring at least one run in four of her final five games.

2025 AUSL All-Star Cup: Accumulated 720 leaderboard points. Authored a .324 batting average, tying for third in the league with 11 hits.

2025 AUSL Regular Season (Blaze): Ranked eighth in the AUSL with a .357 batting average. Tied for ninth with 25 hits (including six doubles and three home runs) and finished sixth with 19 RBIs. Belted the first grand slam in AUSL history on June 14.

2024 Championship Season: Tallied 1,110 leaderboard points and was named to the AU Pro Softball All-Defensive Team. Fashioned a .326 batting average with 14 hits.

2024 AUX Season: Completed her first season with 780 leaderboard points, tallying seven hits and four runs scored.

Other Professional Experience (2023–2026)

WPF (2023): Second overall pick in the WPF Draft by the Texas Smoke. Hit .303 with 33 hits, including nine doubles and a home run.

Mexican Softball League: Tied for the league lead with 32 RBIs for Sultanes de Monterrey in 2025. Authored a .258 batting average with five home runs and 23 RBIs for Sultanes Femenil in 2026.



International Experience

Team USA: Led Team USA to a Gold medal at the 2017 WBSC Junior Women’s World Championship and the 2022 Canada Cup. Member of the 2026 National Team pool.

College Experience: Texas A&M & Washington (2019–2023)

Career Statistics: Started all 197 games at Washington, ranking third in school history in batting average (.420), slugging percentage (.795), and on-base percentage (.499). Registered 256 hits, 57 home runs, and 204 RBIs.

Graduate Year (2023, Washington): Paced the Huskies with a .385 batting average, 12 home runs, and 47 RBIs.

Senior Year (2022, Washington): Hit 24 home runs (fourth in NCAA Division I) and batted .434 with 71 RBIs.

Junior Year (2021, Washington): Sported a .416 batting average with 16 home runs and 53 RBIs.

Sophomore Year (2020, Washington): Boasted a .481 batting average with five home runs during the shortened season.

Freshman Year (2019, Texas A&M): Authored a .289 batting average with five home runs.
