Draft Results: Every Blaze Pick from the AUSL Inaugural Draft
The Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) Inaugural Draft is complete and the Blaze have selected their first 12 players.
The Blaze selected pitcher Carley Hoover in the first round with the No. 2 pick.
Blaze General Manager Dana Sorensen and Head Coach Alisa Goler will complete the roster over the coming months with one free agency signing and three selections at the AUSL College Draft this spring.

The AUSL is a professional women’s softball league featuring four teams playing in a traditional format. The league will begin play this summer. The AUSL will be a touring property in its first season, with the Bandits, Blaze, Talons, and Volts playing games in six to eight cities. The teams will each be assigned to a single city when the league becomes city-based in 2026.
