The Blaze have acquired outfielder McKenzie Clark from the Volts in exchange for outfielder Ciara Briggs in the first trade in Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) history.
Clark, a starter in all 10 games for the Volts this season, has belted two home runs with five runs batted in. The former Clemson University product has also scored five runs.
Briggs appeared in 10 games with five starts for the Blaze. She went 1-for-3 with a run scored in the squad’s 11-3 loss against the Bandits on Saturday evening.
