Skylar Wallace

Skylar Wallace is a 5-foot-10 professional softball middle infielder from Woodstock, Georgia. She was acquired in the 3rd Round of the 2025 Inaugural Draft following a collegiate career at Florida and Alabama.

Personal Life

Hobbies: Hobbies include working out, creating content, spending time with friends and shopping. Passionate about health and wellness. Ran a half-marathon in 2 hours and 2 minutes prior to the 2025 season.

Background: Competed in the 2024 MLB Home Run Derby X event in Durham, North Carolina, alongside Athletes Unlimited Softball League player Amanda Lorenz. She chose to wear No. 17 because it was her jersey number when she played at Florida.

Professional & International Experience (2024–)

2026 AUSL Postseason (Chicago Bandits): Wallace tallied three hits in eight at-bats while starting all three of her team's postseason games, including two hits in the Game Two loss against Utah during the AUSL Championship.

2026 AUSL Regular Season (Chicago Bandits): Wallace led the AUSL with a .500 batting average and a .574 on-base percentage, while also pacing the league with six stolen bases in seven attempts. She authored a .979 slugging percentage, good for second in the AUSL, and tied for second in the league with 21 runs scored. She recorded 24 hits, ranking seventh in the AUSL, while driving in 17 runs and hitting six home runs, also good for seventh in the circuit. On July 16, against Carolina, Wallace became the first player in AUSL history to hit three home runs in a single game, going 5-for-5 and also matching the AUSL single-game record with seven runs batted in. She opened the season by hitting safely in seven consecutive games, going 12-for-23 (.521) with two home runs and six runs batted in during that stretch. Wallace belted two home runs as part of a 3-for-4 effort at Oklahoma City on June 27, also scoring three runs while driving in three. On July 2, against Portland, she fashioned a 4-for-4 performance with three runs scored. On July 15, against Carolina, she posted four hits, including a home run, with three runs scored and two runs batted in.

2025 AUSL Regular Season (Bandits): Batted .390 with a league-leading 26 runs scored and eight stolen bases. Hit safely in 21-of-23 games, registering a league-best 11-game hitting streak.

2024 Championship Season: Finished sixth with 1,500 leaderboard points, pacing the league with 13 runs scored while batting .354 with a .971 OPS.

Team USA: Won a Gold medal at the 2019 WBSC U-19 Women’s Softball World Cup and is in the 2026 National Team pool.

College Experience: Alabama & Florida (2019–2024)

Wallace compiled a .383 career batting average with 289 hits, 51 home runs, and 307 runs scored over 284 career games.

Junior Year (2022, Florida): Became the first NCAA Division I player to log 70 hits, 70 runs, 50 RBIs, and 50 steals in a single season.

Redshirt Junior Year (2023, Florida): Ranked ninth in NCAA Division I with a school-record .447 batting average and led the nation with a .980 slugging percentage.
