Lexi Kilfoyl is a 6-foot-2 professional softball pitcher from Land O’ Lakes, Florida. She was acquired with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 Inaugural Draft.

Education: Earned her master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Oklahoma State along with a general business certificate.

Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball & AUSL (2024–)

2026 AUSL Postseason (Chicago Bandits): Kilfoyl appeared in all three of the Bandits' postseason games, fashioning a 1.47 earned run average with a 1-1 record over 14.1 innings. She piloted Chicago to a Play-In Game victory over Portland by throwing 7.0 innings in relief, giving up two unearned runs on two hits with four strikeouts in the 6-5 verdict.

2026 AUSL Regular Season (Chicago Bandits): Kilfoyl authored a 6-0 record while ranking second in the AUSL with a 1.95 earned run average. She also ranked second in the league by allowing just 12 earned runs and 35 hits over 43.0 innings, and third in the AUSL by holding opponents to a .222 batting average. She tied for the team lead with three complete games. Kilfoyl scattered four hits in a complete-game victory at Oklahoma City on June 27 in her season debut. She led the Bandits to a victory over Texas on July 4, allowing two unearned runs on three hits with a season-high four strikeouts over 8.0 innings. She closed out the regular season with a complete-game win over Utah on July 19, allowing one unearned run on six hits with two strikeouts over 8.0 innings. Kilfoyl also picked up two wins in relief: on July 15, at Carolina, she did not allow a hit in 1.2 innings with one strikeout, and on July 6, against Texas, she conceded one hit in 4.1 scoreless innings.

2025 AUSL All-Star Cup: Finished ninth with 994 leaderboard points and a 2.03 ERA, ranking third with 15 strikeouts.

2025 AUSL Regular Season (Bandits): Led the league with 16 appearances, tying for the league lead with six victories (6-1 record). Ranked second with a 2.35 ERA in 50.2 innings and third with 31 strikeouts.

2024 Championship Season: Finished second with 1,734 leaderboard points and paced the league with seven wins, a 2.23 ERA, 59.2 innings, and 39 strikeouts. Joined Cat Osterman as the only pitchers in league history with multiple shutouts in a season.


International Experience

Team USA: Member of the 2026 National Team pool and guided the U-19 team to two Gold medals at WBSC World Cups in 2017 and 2019.

College Experience: Alabama & Oklahoma State (2020–2024)


Kilfoyl was a two-year letter winner at Oklahoma State after spending her first three seasons at Alabama. Over her college career, she appeared in 124 games with 80 starts, compiling a 70-21 record with seven saves. She authored a 1.70 career earned run average with 549 strikeouts over 565.0 innings, also registering 54 complete games and 20 shutouts. As a two-way player, she hit .237 with four home runs and 24 runs batted in over 99 games, hitting a home run in each of her final four seasons.


Oklahoma State (2023-2024): At Oklahoma State, Kilfoyl posted a 42-10 record over two seasons with 11 shutouts and five saves, accumulating 282 strikeouts with 29 complete games. As a graduate student, she was a consensus First-Team All-America selection by NFCA, Softball America, and D1Softball, and was a Top 3 finalist for the 2024 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award. She also earned Third-Team NFCA All-America honors during her senior season. Kilfoyl was named the 2024 Big 12 Conference Pitcher of the Year and was a unanimous choice for the All-Big 12 First Team after compiling a 26-5 record with three saves and a career-best 1.20 earned run average. She was also the recipient of the 2023-24 Oklahoma State Cowgirl Athlete of the Year award. In 2024, Kilfoyl tallied 152 strikeouts over 180.2 innings while leading the Cowgirls to an NCAA Women's College World Series appearance, limiting opposing hitters to a .173 batting average. She was the only player in the NCAA Tournament to post a 5-0 record during Regional and Super Regional play, posting a 0.75 earned run average with 27 strikeouts over 28.0 innings. She fashioned seven shutouts in her final season, including five against nationally ranked opponents, and allowed just one run in 8.2 innings over two outings at the Women's College World Series. As a senior at Oklahoma State, Kilfoyl went 16-5 with a team-best 1.70 earned run average and 130 strikeouts in 139.2 innings, earning Second-Team All-Big 12 recognition.

Alabama (2020-2022): At Alabama, Kilfoyl fashioned a 2.06 earned run average over 54 appearances from 2020 to 2022, posting a 28-11 record with nine shutouts and 25 complete games. She added 267 strikeouts in 244.2 innings, including 131 strikeouts as a sophomore, and was a member of the 2021 All-Southeastern Conference Newcomer Team. As a junior, Kilfoyl fashioned a 9-3 record with a 3.04 earned run average and 79 strikeouts in 80.0 innings. As a sophomore, she made 23 appearances with 16 starts, posting a 13-4 record with one save and a 2.08 earned run average while striking out 131 batters in 104.0 innings. She also collected 10 complete games with four shutouts that season, and threw her first career no-hitter against North Carolina on February 28, 2021, allowing only one walk with eight strikeouts. She also struck out 15 batters as part of a combined no-hitter against Alabama State at NCAA Regionals. During her COVID-shortened freshman season, Kilfoyl saw action in 13 games with eight starts, composing a 6-4 record with a 3.12 earned run average and 57 strikeouts over 60.2 innings.
