Erin Coffel is a 5-foot-6 middle infielder from Bremen, Indiana. She was acquired in the sixth round of the 2025 Inaugural Draft following her collegiate career at Kentucky.


Personal Life


Hobbies: Enjoys spending time with friends, family and her golden retriever, Jack, trying new recipes and juggling.

Background: Serves as a graduate assistant coach at Florida and was a two-time Indiana Gatorade Player of the Year. Admires Freddie Freeman and wears No. 21 from her basketball and Kentucky days. Calls becoming a three-time All-American her proudest accomplishment.

Education: Majored in kinesiology at Kentucky.

Professional Experience


Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball & AUSL (2024–2025)

2026 AUSL Regular Season (Bandits): Hit .333 with five doubles in 15 starts before being placed on the Injured List on July 8, and led the AUSL with 15 walks.

2025 AUSL All-Star Cup: Secured her first career AU medal with a fourth-place finish (1,172 leaderboard points). Hit .304 with two home runs, eight RBIs, and led the league with nine runs scored.

2025 AUSL Regular Season: Inaugural recipient of the AUSL MVP and Hitter of the Year awards. Led the league with four triples, 28 RBIs, a .566 on-base percentage, and a 1.435 OPS. Hit the first grand slam in Bandits history on June 19, driving in a season-high five runs.

2024 Championship Season: Finished eighth overall with 1,446 leaderboard points and tied for the league lead with three home runs. Led the league by being hit by a pitch seven times.

2024 AUX Season: Tied for 18th place in her professional debut with 950 points, recording six hits, including two doubles and a home run.


International Experience (2021–2026)

Team USA: Named to the All-Pan Am Team after hitting .417 to help Team USA win Gold at the 2023 Pan American Games. Hit .375 at the 2026 WBSC World Cup Group Stage and won Gold at the 2021 Junior Women's World Championship and Junior Pan American Games.

College Experience: Kentucky (2021–2024)


Coffel earned starting assignments in 221 of 224 games at Kentucky.

Career Statistics: She finished her career as the Wildcats' all-time leader in home runs (68), RBIs (212), and walks (155), boasting a school-record .785 slugging percentage and .377 batting average.

Junior Year (2023): Led NCAA Division I in walks, walks per game, and on-base percentage.


Awards & Honors

All-America: First player in Kentucky history to receive three NFCA All-America certificates.

National Honors: Finalist for USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year as a junior.

Conference Honors: Four-time All-SEC selection, including First-Team honors in each of her final three seasons, and 2024 SEC All-Defensive Team member.
