Personal: Netz is the daughter of Dan and Lisa Netz and has two brothers. Her brother, Dawson, plays baseball at Arizona. She has a dog named Sophie. Netz models her game after Lauren Haeger. Among her proudest accomplishments are graduating from college and being named the Big 12 Conference Player of the Year. In her free time, she enjoys dancing and attending country music concerts. She also knows how to play the acoustic guitar. She chose to wear No. 34 because both David Ortiz and Bryce Harper wore the number, and she also wore it during her career at Arizona.

College Experience: Netz was an outstanding two-way player at Arizona from 2021 to 2025. Although she did not play during the 2024 season due to injury, she appeared in 121 career games as a pitcher, making 76 starts, and played in 160 games as a hitter, including 135 starts.
As a pitcher, Netz compiled a 56-29 record with a 3.20 earned run average (ERA) and 353 strikeouts over 481 innings. She recorded 29 complete games, 13 shutouts, and a school-record eight saves. Offensively, she finished her career with a .318 batting average, hitting 32 home runs and driving in 109 runs. She also tallied 104 career hits, including 12 doubles. Netz was the recipient of the 2025 NCAA Division I Rawlings Gold Glove Award® and was a Top 10 Finalist for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year in 2025. During her redshirt senior year, she earned First-Team All-America honors from Softball America and D1Softball, along with a spot on the NFCA All-America Second Team. She was also named the 2025 Big 12 Conference Player of the Year after leading the Wildcats to an NCAA Tournament berth. Additionally, Netz was selected to the 2025 All-Big 12 First Team and the Big 12 All-Defensive Team. In her redshirt senior season, Netz posted a 22-6 record with a 2.25 ERA and 118 strikeouts over 152.1 innings. She also hit .347 with 19 home runs and 68 RBIs. Netz made history by becoming the first player in Arizona history to throw a perfect game and hit a home run in the same game, accomplishing the feat against BYU on March 28, 2025. The day before, she threw a five-inning no-hitter in an 8-0 victory over BYU. On May 3, 2025, she scattered two hits in a complete game win over Houston. Between March 14 and 28, 2025, Netz won six consecutive decisions over seven appearances. She also pitched a two-hit shutout with nine strikeouts against Washington on February 9, 2025, and tied a school record by hitting three home runs in a single game against Michigan State on February 6, 2025. During the 2023 season, Netz started 30 games in the circle and was named Second-Team All-Pac-12 Conference. She posted a 16-16 record with a 3.88 ERA and totaled 135 strikeouts over a career-best 171.1 innings. One of her highlights was striking out 11 batters in a complete game victory over San Diego on March 31, 2023. Offensively, she ranked second on the team with 13 home runs and hit .303. As a sophomore, Netz appeared in 36 games as a pitcher with 25 starts, ranking eighth in the Pac-12 with 15 wins. She recorded seven complete games and finished the season with a 15-7 record, a 3.45 ERA, and 83 strikeouts. Netz began her college career in 2021, appearing in 10 games and posting a 3-0 record with a 2.95 ERA over 21.1 innings. She was also a three-time member of the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
