Personal Life

Family: Her stepmother, Amy, played softball and basketball at Saint Francis University.

Education: Majored in biomechanics at Georgia.

Background: Was a five-sport athlete in high school who also competed on soccer, basketball, golf, and track and field teams; set Lakeland High School single-season records for home runs (18), batting average (.667), and runs batted in.

College Experience: Coastal Carolina/Georgia

Roose was a four-year letter winner at Coastal Carolina before finishing her career at Georgia as a graduate student, earning a starting assignment in 231-of-234 career games.

Offensive Statistics: She compiled a .298 career batting average with 40 total home runs, 141 runs batted in, and 210 career hits, including 45 doubles and four triples.

At Georgia: As a graduate student, she started 56-of-57 games for Georgia, leading the Bulldogs with 15 home runs while boasting a .348 average. She also ranked third on the team with 64 hits and 19 multi-hit games.

At Coastal Carolina: She started 174-of-177 games during her career at Coastal Carolina, authoring a .281 batting average with 25 home runs and 102 runs batted in.

Senior Season: Hit .368 for the Chanticleers, blasting 15 home runs with 54 runs batted in while adding a team-high 20 doubles.

Junior Season: Limited to just seven games, including five starts.

Sophomore Season: Started 55 contests and hit .242 with two home runs and 24 runs batted in.

Freshman Season: One of three Coastal Carolina players to start all 54 games in 2023, contributing eight home runs and 22 runs batted in during her rookie season.

Awards & Honors

All-Region: Earned Second-Team NFCA All-Region honors as a senior at Coastal Carolina.

Conference Honors: Named a Second-Team All-Southeastern Conference performer as a graduate student at Georgia and earned All-Sun Belt Conference status as a senior at Coastal Carolina.
