The Volts are building something electric—and the coaching staff is proof.

Head coach Kelly Kretschman and general manager Cat Osterman headline the leadership team, but they’ll have no shortage of elite experience in the dugout. Associate coach Courtney Gettins and assistant coaches Kristen Zaleski and Josh Eurich are set to bring a dynamic blend of college coaching success, professional playing backgrounds, and international experience.

Courtney Gettins | Associate Coach

From dominating in the circle to developing elite talent, Courtney Gettins brings international experience and a championship mindset to the Volts. A New Zealand National Team pitcher and two-time All-American at Florida SouthWestern, she went 73-7 with a 1.38 ERA before transferring to Alabama, where she made history by throwing a no-hitter in her Crimson Tide debut.

As a coach, Gettins has guided teams at Texas, Jacksonville, and Mercer—most notably helping Texas reach the 2021 NCAA Super Regionals and mentoring All-American Janae Jefferson. She has a proven track record and coaching chops that will elevate the Volt’s squad.

Kristen Zaleski | Assistant Coach

Kristen Zaleski is a two-time NFCA All-American as a player and a national champion as a coach. She brings valuable championship experience to the Volts. Since joining Texas in 2022, she’s helped the Longhorns to a Super Regionals appearance (2023) and a Women’s College World Series finals berth (2024), earning 2024 NFCA Central Region Coaching Staff of the Year honors.

Before Texas, Zaleski was part of Oklahoma’s 2022 national title run, and head coach at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Temple College, where she won the 2018 NJCAA national title.

Professionally, Zaleski played five seasons in National Pro Fastpitch with the Texas Thunder and Rockford Thunder, earning league MVP honors in 2005. She was a two-time NPF All-Star, a three-time All-NPF selection, and a member of the U.S. National Training Team as she pursued a spot on the 2008 Olympic roster. She also participated in MLB Softball Clinics with the Detroit Tigers and San Francisco Giants, adding elite-level playing experience to her coaching pedigree.

Josh Eurich | Assistant coach

A rising star in the fastpitch world, Josh Eurich brings international pedigree and NCAA insight to the Volts. He competed for Team USA at the 2018 WBSC Junior Men’s World Championship and now assists the Oklahoma State pitching staff as a student manager. In addition to a resume that includes bullpen leadership for a top-10 DI program, Eurich joins the Volts with a wicked 68 mph fastball that’s sure to sharpen the lineup.
