Jaydyn Goodwin Released from Volts’ roster

10/13/2026

Savanna Collins

The Texas Volts announced they released outfielder Jaydyn Goodwin following the 2026 season.

Goodwin can join the Reserve Player Pool and is eligible for the Athletes Unlimited Softball League Allocation Draft this winter.

Goodwin was acquired as an Available Player following her collegiate career at Georgia. She appeared in 21 games for the Volts, starting in 17. Goodwin hit an even .200 in 50 at-bats in her rookie season.

The release creates another opening on the Volts roster heading into 2027; Sierra Romero announced her retirement from professional softball at the end of the 2026 season.
