Softball doesn’t slow down for Texas Volts pitcher Ally Carda during the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) offseason. She jets from the United States to play in Japan with Honda Reverta in the Japan Diamond League (JDL) but still finds time for her other hobbies.
We checked in with Carda for “In the Rotation,” giving fans a look at what she’s listening to, watching, and more this offseason.
Queued up to watch for Carda are “Reacher”, “Lioness”, and “Running Point” (we’re so here for the action and female empowerment on the screen). “These highs, these lows” by LVDY and “Gone” by KELS are on repeat through her headphones.
Carda often starts her days in Japan with what she calls “morning movement” and has been chronicling each day on Instagram. She’s a JDL veteran and gives fans an inside look at her life playing overseas.
Check out the full “In the Rotation” post below to see all of Carda’s offseason favorites.
