Washington, D.C., played host to a crossover moment between pro softball and Major League Baseball on Friday, as Jessi Warren threw out the ceremonial first pitch at a Washington Nationals home game versus the Milwaukee Brewers.

Warren, an infielder for the Athletes Unlimited Softball League’s OKC Spark, delivered the pitch to right-handed pitcher Andre Granillo during the pregame ceremony. The appearance comes ahead of the Spark’s 2026 season, which opens June 9 at home at Tom Heath Field versus the Texas Volts.

Warren and the Spark will open up the season on June 9 in Oklahoma City, where they will face the Texas Volts in a three-game series. Tickets are on sale now.
