Personal: Sacco-Ferrie is the daughter of Shea and Patrick Sacco and majored in business administration at Mississippi State. On May 4, 2025, she became engaged to Mississippi State football student-athlete Kyle Ferrie. Sacco-Ferrie is the first college athlete in her family and has made a lasting impact both on and off the field. Her favorite breakfast is Nutella toast with strawberries, and she has a unique talent—she knows how to juggle. Sacco-Ferrie enjoys spending her free time with her friends, fiancé, and her dogs, including one named Cody Johnson, named in honor of the country music singer. A two-sport athlete in high school, Sacco-Ferrie also played volleyball and competed in track and field as a child. She credits her high school softball coach, Beav Fabacher, as someone who made a significant impact on her journey. Sacco-Ferrie models her game after elite outfielders Haylie McCleney and Aliyah Andrews, and recalls feeling starstruck when McCleney waved to her during the SEC Tournament. Sacco-Ferrie plans to continue her softball journey as a graduate assistant for the Mississippi State softball team in the future. Among her proudest accomplishments are earning All-America honors and becoming a professional softball player. She also won two state high school softball championships in Sulphur, Louisiana—an early testament to her winning mindset and talent.
2025 AUSL All-Star Cup: Sacco-Ferrie finished her first All-Star Cup campaign in 30th place on the final leaderboard, totaling 740 points, including 580 win points and 140 stat points. She posted five games with 100 or more leaderboard points and started all 10 games. Sacco-Ferrie tied for fourth in the league with five walks, posted a .286 batting average with eight hits, and scored two runs. She recorded three multi-hit games, including two multi-hit contests during Series Four. Sacco-Ferrie earned Defensive MVP honors against Team Coffey on August 24. She set a season-high 150 leaderboard points against Team Corrick in the season opener on August 2 and matched that total with another 150-point effort against Team Ricketts to begin Series Four. She went 2-for-3 against Team Falby in the Series Two opener and posted a 2-for-4 performance with two RBIs during the season finale against Team Coffel.
2025 AUSL Regular Season: Sacco-Ferrie was a member of the AUSL All-Defensive Team as a rookie and started 20 contests. She posted a .313 batting average with 21 hits, including three home runs and three doubles, while driving in eight runs and scoring 15 times. She tied for seventh in the AUSL with nine walks and stole four bases in four attempts, sharing fourth place on the league leaderboard. Sacco-Ferrie hit the first home run in AUSL history on June 7, belting a solo shot off Bandits pitcher Lexi Kilfoyl in the top of the third inning. She recorded four multi-hit games in her first six professional outings and drove in a run in five of her first seven contests. She drove in a season-high two runs against the Volts on June 23 and closed the regular season with five hits over her final three games, scoring at least once in five of her last six appearances. In the AUSL Championship against the Bandits, she went 0-for-3 with two walks and a run scored.
College Experience: Sacco-Ferrie is a two-year letter winner at Mississippi State, where she completed an impressive collegiate softball career after beginning at Louisiana Tech. Over 227 career starts, Sacco-Ferrie compiled a .397 batting average with 13 home runs, 99 runs batted in, and 272 hits—including 37 doubles and nine triples. She also stole 99 bases in 137 attempts, showcasing her all-around offensive talent and speed. As a senior, Sacco-Ferrie started all 58 games for Mississippi State and was named a First-Team All-American by both Softball America and the NFCA. She also earned Second-Team All-America honors from D1Softball and was a Top 25 Finalist for the 2025 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award. Sacco-Ferrie was a First-Team selection for both the NFCA All-South Region and the All-Southeastern Conference (SEC) teams. She set career highs in home runs (11) and RBIs (49) while leading the Bulldogs to the NCAA Tournament. During her junior year, Sacco-Ferrie started all 54 games in center field for Mississippi State. She led the team with a .347 batting average and ranked sixth in the SEC with a .492 on-base percentage. She also led the Bulldogs with 19 stolen bases—fifth-most in the SEC—while contributing 54 runs scored and 43 walks, both ranking in the top six in the conference. Her 0.80 walks per game average ranked third in NCAA Division I during the 2024 season. As a freshman in 2022, Sacco-Ferrie was named the Conference USA Freshman of the Year and was a Top 10 Finalist for the NFCA National Freshman of the Year award. She batted .441 and set a Louisiana Tech single-season record with 83 hits. She also scored 54 runs, drew a team-high 36 walks, and finished second in Conference USA with 28 stolen bases.
