Personal: Alexander majored in sport and recreation management at James Madison University. She has two older brothers and two younger sisters. One of her brothers, Isaiah, played basketball at Kansas State. In December 2024, she married Hakeem Bennett. Among her proudest accomplishments are becoming a stepmother, opening her own softball facility called SixFour3, and competing in the Athletes Unlimited Softball League. During high school, she also played on the varsity basketball and volleyball teams. In 2023, she served as an assistant softball coach at Howard University. Alexander has a mini-doodle named Brodie. She credits James Madison head softball coach Loren LaPorte as someone who has made a meaningful impact on her life. She models her game after former softball star Natasha Watley. One of her most memorable moments was meeting Monica Abbott while playing overseas, an experience that left her feeling starstruck. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. As a child, she earned a black belt in martial arts. Her walk-up song is “All My Life” by Lil Durk featuring J. Cole.

2024 Championship Season: Alexander accumulated 958 leaderboard points, including 890 win points. She served as a team captain in Week One. She made seven appearances in the circle, with two of those being starts, and finished the season with a 0-3 record and a 6.13 earned run average. Over 16.0 innings, she recorded eight strikeouts. As a hitter, Alexander tallied two hits in nine at-bats, along with one run batted in. She threw a season-high 3.1 innings against Team Denham on July 28 and against Team Kilfoyl on August 11. Alexander also notched two strikeouts in back-to-back outings during Week Three against Team Kilfoyl and Team Palacios. Additionally, she registered five games with 100 or more leaderboard points.


2024 AUX Season: Alexander compiled 648 leaderboard points during the second Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball AUX campaign. She authored five games with 100 or more leaderboard points and made seven appearances in the circle with three starts. She fashioned a 10.27 earned run average with a 1-3 record and notched one save. Alexander tallied 10 strikeouts over 15.0 innings and registered a season-high three strikeouts in her season debut against Team Wiggins on June 10. She earned a save against Team Edwards on June 16 after giving up one run on one hit in 2.0 innings. Alexander secured a win in relief against Team Nickles on June 23, giving up two runs on two hits over 2.1 innings. Additionally, she had two at-bats as a hitter and was hit by a pitch once.


2023 Championship Season: Alexander secured the Athletes Unlimited Softball title after leading the league with 1,994 leaderboard points. She established new league single-season records by accumulating 1,390 total win points and 790 inning win points. She also fashioned a league-best 12-3 record to collect 600 game-win points. Alexander collected 404 stat points to rank fourth in the circuit. She was one of four players in the league with 200 or more MVP points after receiving Game MVP recognition four times. As a captain, Alexander authored a 7-2 record after leading a team in each of the final three weeks, including perfect 3-0 marks in Week Three and Week Four. She posted a 2-1 record in the circle with two saves over 13 appearances. Alexander tied for third in the league by fashioning a 2.15 earned run average in 42.1 innings. She also struck out 42 hitters to rate third among the league's pitchers. Alexander posted four or more strikeouts in 7-of-13 outings. She was third in the league with a .196 opponent batting average. Alexander earned MVP 1 honors on August 6 after allowing one earned run on five hits with five strikeouts over 5.0 innings against Team Garcia. She conceded just two hits over 5.0 innings with a season-high six strikeouts against Team Davidson on August 12 to earn victory and MVP 1 accolades. Alexander claimed MVP 3 distinction in the Week Three finale against Team Romero on August 13 with 2.0 scoreless innings of relief. She struck out five hitters over the final 3.0 innings to nail down the save against Team Mulipola on July 29. Alexander also earned a save on August 20 against Team Nickles by scattering two hits in the final 3.0 innings with four strikeouts. In addition, she served as a hitter in six games, registering one hit in 15 at-bats. Alexander posted her lone hit against Team Davidson on August 12 as part of a 250-point performance that included MVP 1 distinction. She authored 12 games with 100 or more leaderboard points, including three outings with 200 or more points. 


2023 AUX Season: Alexander secured 748 leaderboard points, which included 710 win points. On June 25, she earned MVP 2 recognition for leading Team Garcia to a 15-4 victory over Team Leach. Throughout the season, she made one start and pitched a season-high 5.2 innings. Alexander finished the season with a 1-1 record and an earned run average of 8.53 over 10.2 innings. She also recorded four strikeouts.


2022 Championship Season: In her second year with the league, Alexander accumulated 1,136 leaderboard points in 12 games. She made nine appearances in the circle with five starts and finished with a 5.25 earned run average. Her season-high was 3.1 innings against Team Jaquish on August 13th, where she recorded three strikeouts. Alexander also had three strikeouts against Team Zerkle in the Week One finale. In her season debut against Team Ocasio on July 30th, she conceded two hits over 3.0 innings. She also threw 3.0 innings in the Week Two finale against Team Harshman. Alexander also registered three hits in eight at-bats at the plate, including a double against Team McCleney during the Week Five opener.


2021 Championship Season: Alexander accumulated 1,300 leaderboard points to finish 22nd in the league standings. She tied for ninth in the league with 1,050 win points. Alexander appeared in nine games with five starts and posted a 2-1 record in 26.0 innings. She ranked fifth in the league with 22 strikeouts. Alexander also went 2-for-5 at the plate with a double and a run scored.


International Experience: Alexander appeared in seven games at the 2022 Canada Cup while helping Team USA win the Gold medal. She also played for Team USA at the 2022 Pan American Championships. During the round-robin play, she pitched one inning for the Gold medal-winning squad while hitting a double and a triple.


Other Professional Experience: Alexander competed for the USSSA Pride during the 2021 season. She threw her first professional no-hitter against the Carolina Collegiate League on August 5th, 2021, with 11 strikeouts and just one walk.

At James Madison: During her time at James Madison University, Alexander was a five-year letter winner who started 207-of-208 games from 2017-21. She also ranks third in school history with 139 appearances in the circle, including 102 starts. Alexander fashioned a .337 career batting average and ranks fourth in program history with 39 career home runs. Her 164 career runs batted in are good for fourth place. Alexander tallied 203 hits, including 31 doubles and three triples, while scoring 128 runs. She ranks eighth in school history with a .592 career slugging percentage and 357 total bases. Additionally, Alexander stands 10th in JMU history with a .428 career on-base percentage. She excelled in the circle with an 81-18 career record while authoring a 2.18 earned run average, which ranks 10th on Dukes’ career list. Alexander accrued 712 strikeouts in 640.0 innings with 55 complete games and 29 shutouts. She held opponents to a .190 batting average, the fourth-best mark on the Dukes’ career list. Alexander is third in school history with 81 career victories and registered six career saves, which are tied for fifth on the Dukes’ annals. She also stands third in program history in complete games, shutouts, strikeouts, and innings pitched. Alexander set a school record with 19 strikeouts against Liberty on May 21st, 2021. She owns three career games with 15 or more strikeouts and threw two solo no-hitters in her career, including a perfect game against the College of Charleston on May 1st, 2021. Alexander also had a no-hitter against Delaware in the 2021 Colonial Athletic Association Tournament. She was named the Most Outstanding Performer at the 2019 CAA Tournament and earned a spot on the 2021 Women’s College World Series All-Tournament Team. Alexander is a three-time NFCA All-America selection, including Second-Team distinction in 2021. She also claimed First-Team CAA recognition three times and earned CAA Player of the Year honors in 2018 and 2019. Alexander was selected as CAA Pitcher of the Year during her final year with the Dukes and secured NFCA All-Region notice four times, including a trio of First-Team commendations.
