Mia Davidson is a 5-foot-5 professional softball catcher from Hillsborough, North Carolina. She was acquired in the 2nd Round of the 2026 Allocation Draft following a collegiate career at Mississippi State.


Personal Life


Family: Both parents served in the U.S. Army. Her sister, Montana, played softball at Mississippi State.

Education: Earned a master's degree in sports administration at Mississippi State in 2023 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in 2021.

Professional Experience


Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball & AUX (2022–2025)

2025 AUSL All-Star Cup: Compiled a 6-4 record as a facilitator.

2024 Championship Season: Accumulated 496 leaderboard points in four starts before missing the final two weeks due to injury.

2023 Championship Season: Finished 20th with 1,298 leaderboard points. Started all 15 games, hitting .211 with four home runs. Set a league single-season record after being hit by a pitch 10 times.

2023 AUX Season: Finished third overall with 1,122 leaderboard points. Hit .417 and set an AU X single-season record with five home runs.

2022 Championship Season: Accumulated 1,280 leaderboard points for 21st place. Started all 15 games, contributing 10 hits, including four home runs and 11 RBIs.



Other Professional Experience (2024)

Japan Diamond League: Signed to play with Denso Bright Pegasus of the Japan Diamond League during the 2024 season.


International Experience (2022–2024)

Team USA: Played for Team USA at the 2022 WBSC Pan American Championships, the 2023 WBSC World Cup Group A event, and won Gold at the 2023 Pan American Games. Helped Team USA win Silver at the 2024 WBSC World Cup Finals.

College Experience: Mississippi State (2018–2022)


Career Statistics: Started all 270 games, authoring a .352 batting average with 92 home runs and 220 RBIs. SEC and Mississippi State’s career home runs leader.

All-America: Two-time NFCA All-America pick, including First-Team during the 2022 season.

National Honors: Honored as the 2022 NFCA/Diamond Sports Catcher of the Year.
